Blox has once again utilized his skill to upgrade the wiki to MediaWiki 1.36.

This version has been over a year in the making, partially delayed by the pandemic. It offers the most visual change to the skin since I took over in September 2019. Take a look!

Blox has once again utilized his skill to upgrade the wiki to MediaWiki 1.36.

This version has been over a year in the making, partially delayed by the pandemic. It offers the most visual change to the skin since I took over in September 2019. Take a look!

The format still looks all wonky to me...the list of the stories covers up the menu options on the left-hand side, and the sizing/font seem to be off. Maybe it's just my computer; hopefully, it is.

All of fembotwiki.com is giving a 404 error ... I assume it's down and getting fixed somehow...

Yes, unfortunately Dreamhost had some sort of issue with the backend of the wiki and they decided to temporarily disable the wiki, without giving me prior notification, until it is fixed.

Blox should be able to fix it later tonight when he gets home from work.

The issue Dreamhost was having yesterday was with the wiki causing excessive server strain on the shared server we're hosted on. While they erred by not communicating their issue with me before disabling us, or after, we nevertheless had to make a few sacrifices in order to reduce our strain on the server:
*Several extensions have been disabled permanently:
**Hitcounter
**Rate Page
**Social Profile
*The wiki has been patched to 1.36.1
*Blox made a few tweaks to prevent bots and web crawlers from negatively impacting performance.

While it hurts that the Hit Counter has been disabled, at least the wiki is back up and running and we are no longer in any danger of having the wiki permanently disabled, which is what Dreamhost was threatening. And, with the Hit Counter disabled, you will find the wiki is running much faster than usual.

Just wanted to say that I use the wiki a lot and can't thank you and the authors and artists and screen grabbers etc. enough for all you do. It's a fantastic and valuable resource for those of us who appreciate this kind of thing. Hope this is the right place for this, but again, thank you!
