Hi guys! I just wanted to pop on here to tell you about my new robot release since it's been a while. (Also...how are you doing right now in all this craziness??? I hope you're safe and healthy!)
So the quarantine has been fueling all my recent releases on clips4sale, and one of the ideas I've had was this one. I thought it would be darkly humorous if in the midst of this quarantine, someone seeking companionship stumbled upon a targeted ad while fiddling around online and with a promise of guaranteed 2 day shipping and a 100% satisfaction rating, they take the plunge and "buy it now." BUT...when the product arrives, it quickly becomes apparent that it might have been hastily made and suffered too much bouncing around in transit with very little packing materials. So now he's not necessarily alone...but he's stuck in lockdown with an unreliable malfunctioning robot companion.
After the intro set-up, it changes to single shot POV for the clip for a more immersive experience. Lots of freezing in this one and she becomes less and less human in speech, movements, and mannerisms as time goes on. No special FX, but contains vocal FX and some sound FX. I wanted to keep it a little more simple with FX for this one since time is something I currently have even less of with lockdown in place.
