A curious start!
And! WOW, was the Gadget converted to a gynoid? I have been waiting for this almost from the very beginning of the story - from the moment Grace told her story, but I'm still surprised.
But the main thing... In this world, a real conversion is possible, and not just the creation of a perfect copy? In the sense - the transfer of consciousness, no matter how it looks, from the biological original into the body of the droid?
Earlier, I suspected that Grace was a copy, and her biological original was tricked and destroyed after successful copy process. This was entirely justified for the organization that made her a gynoid. Grace could even believe that she was herself. But now Gadget is also converted, moreover, voluntarily and she could know the technical side of the procedure. Now I doubt...
Her original is also dead, or is the transfer of consciousness possible?
And if the transfer of consciousness is possible, then which option is true for Grace?

BTW, have you ever thought of doing another sequel to your hotel sexbot series?

I always wondered what might have happened if an innocent person staying at said hotel might trigger something in the maidbots which would cause a little orgy or two, then get Susan involved as well.

Maybe, in mark of what's recently been going on in the world, have the person trigger something in one of the maidbots to start it off.

Like a courtly kiss to the hand, maybe...? :D
