First, I recognise a lot of people here who have English as their first language could use a damn good proofreader, but for those who grew up speaking French or Spanish or Finnish or Polish or Swedish or Russian or Turkish or Japanese or any other language, you're more than welcome to send me (and anyone else who volunteers on this thread) a copy of your finished manuscript. I'll fix the obvious errors and send it back to you so you can make doubly sure it still makes sense to you before you post it. We're not mind-readers and we will make mistakes (like we do in our own stories! lol) but it may help your story reach a wider audience and may teach you more about this overly-complex language we know as English. And, maybe, you can teach one of us a thing or two about your native language, as I know I'm always looking to expand my language horizons. And anyone else who'd like to help in this project, post on this thread, too, to offer your services. And for those who want their story proofread by a native (or very experienced) English speaker, remember, you don't have to take the recommendations that I, or anyone else, makes. It's still your creation, your story, and you're really only seeking a second opinion.

Same here, I'd like to think I did alright with Mirage's works last year. I mostly do spelling and grammatical edits.

I have to thank FC user Rdaneel who helped me with my ongoing story. Sadly, he's away since chapter two.

So I would be glad if anyone could help me with chapters two, three, four and ongoing.

It definitely needs proofreading, but it's an awe-inspiring and long piece of work. Please follow his instructions regarding editing, too. I'll get started on it later today, but if anyone wants to start before me, go right ahead.

In fact, both your work and Silkscreen's epic dossier there were both inspirations for this thread, so I (and I bet everyone else who volunteered in this thread) hope to do right by everyone who submits work to this thread. If it becomes more popular than we can handle, we may have to hand out numbers or something, and it may take longer, but here, we're in our infancy, so we're just finding our footing here.

I got a short story ready, it is part 1 out of maybe 10.

Need a proof reader and help me fix some wording problems.

English is my third language so the way I word things get weird sometimes.

Been a while since I've been around.

English is my first language (and unfortunately only language), but after reading the first two parts of my terminator story I am not so sure I can really say I am a native English writer. Non-sequitur sentences, missing words, run-on sentences etc. it was pretty hard to read.
I was wondering if someone would be willing to proofread and provide feedback on (what I currently have) of part 3. Its about 6500 words as of now.
