A true story/event that should be viewed

Post by Gundam » Thu Aug 19, 2010 7:52 am

my spelling is not to good but Ok so when I was 15 im 18 now this was something that happend a couple years ago so i thought I share it to all of you. It all started like this. I went to a dance it was a xmas party for my taekwondo class. This one girl name miss.D who was a hot blonde and nicley tan stood about 5'7 in hight average size. She had on a black dress and black heels and tan pantyhose with black painted toe nails. She sat at this desk for when you come in to sign in for the party. She always had a same maldy personality and her mood always stayed the same. Well i know kids use to joke saying she was a robot and I belived it because I once met a man who made the androids in japan online once and said there were 2 models never shown before i dont know if she was one or not but heres what happend that made me think she was. WE later sat at the tabel me and my lil brother she sat across from ous and said you enjoying. We both said yes then my lil bro thought he heard something. I wasent sure but I end up droping my fork on the ground and went down to pick it up. I saw her legs move uncross now and grab the fork with her toes. I almost fainted is was so sexy. When she did this I heard a robot whirr sound 2 times. Once when she moved her legs then I heard her whirr again when she moved her toes now that i was close to them to hear them. I got back up and sat in my chair. She later said excuse me but I have to go to my car and check up on something. Ever since then I have been dying to know if she was a robot or not. When she moved her foot and stuff that one time I was under the tabel it sounded like a mechcanical sound or however you spell it. Since my bro and I both heard it we both belive she was a robot. Sadly we never saw her again to find out. But that will always be a day to rember she was cute and had that android look in her eyes.

Hmmmmm... Long shot, but it could be possible. She was probably just playing with you, though.
If it is possible for man to love machine, is there any way for the machine to love him back? I'd like to think so.

i dont think she was playing because what else could have made thoses sounds is it possibly for her to be half human and half robot maybe she was in a car crash and lost both her legs or something I wish i knew =/

But those could be prosthetic legs. Doesn't make her a full-blown robot.

I want to believe you, dude; I really do. I've known girls that act more robotic than the crap you see on YouTube, but they were either uncomfortable and were just pre-occupied, or they were truly boring. (not that it matters as long as she's HOT) Anyway, the amount of dexterity, the object recognition, the natural flow of speech, being able to maintain balance on shapely legs and pretty feet (yum!), etc. it's all just not possible yet.

One of the comments to an actroid video mentioned something about, "If that's just what they are showing to the public, just think what the military or scientists have already developed in secret!" A beautiful thought, indeed, but with the amount of bureaucracy and lack of funding and not to mention how easy it is to brag about it now, I really doubt that it would remain secret. We should probably check Wiki Leaks for an article on fembots. The cost, the secrecy, the maintenance, the RISK... unless it was aliens using a spybot to assess the threat of human unarmed attacks, it would just be completely impractical to put something like that out into the world on a regular basis and on a schedule. Have you looked for her on Facebook or know if she's married? It would be sweet to see a stalker from your class get his ass beat down by an unflinching fembot if he tried to attack her, though!

But lastly, the odds of such a beautiful machine being tested at your dojo are really slim, man. There are other factors to consider such as the ambient noise from a party, the possibility of a scanner, copier or fax going off in the background at that moment. Please don't get me wrong. I'm not saying you're full of it at all and I truly wish it was true... probably more than most people HERE or on the planet, but our current technology just can't handle something that f**king awesome. I've been waiting my whole life.

I agree with both of you and what you said. I wounder tho what year or how long intill all this becomes real. every year robotics are improveing just like thoses japan robot girls on youtube its one small step to something big.

Actually, the current level of technology could probably handle Surrogate-like technology. That is to say, super lifelike, remote operated robots. No AI is needed.

Then again, the big question there would be "why bother?" What would be the usefulness of developing such a technology, then putting it to such a mundane use?

...Uh... to distract people before Ashton Kutcher pops out, yelling "YOU'VE BEEN PUNK'D!"?

Ummm... No. Neural-machine interfaces like the ones in the movie are yet to be developed. Even prosthetic legs so advanced to control single toes are still sci-fi.

Maybe hypnotize her to make her think she IS a robot, then you can say she is, and not have as many problems with it. :)

If she is a good girl, That'll hurt her! Unless she is a f**king bitch like bitch who needs a good f**k to get out a pencil up in her anus.

In that case, I'd be more than happy to volunteer for that.

Well, it's definitely a Hooters Girl on duty at a Hooters restaurant. Maybe she is a robot, then. Boy did this discussion fall apart fast.
