Sexbots

Post by MMCYB » Wed Jun 02, 2010 6:06 am

I am new to this site and am co-owner of sexbots which is an adult love/robot doll. My user name MMCYB represents the company name which is MacMil Cybernetics. I am curious about anyone's interest in our product and look forward to any feedback. You may view videos on our site www.sexbots.us. We will be announcing a price for our sellable version of the robots seen in these videos in the next couple weeks.

I wouldn't buy one of these myself since they look kind of...crude, but then again it's foolish to expect the first sexbots to look perfectly human. And it seems they're capable of actual movement, which already puts them lightyears above FalseCompanion.

Good job! Hopefully you'll be able to make them even better in the future. :D

We want to update everyone on our progress and to let you all know that today is a big day for us. Our company is small and all the financing for our product has been supplied by Scott and myself. We are just simple working people and money is hard to come by.

The reason today is a big day is that we will be entertaining a patent attorney in our shop. Due to the financial situation this attorney will be doing the patent work in a very cost effective way. To find this gentleman has been a blessing in disguise.

To bring you up to date on what we are working on. To have sound and voice recognition seems great however unless it can be put in a robot that is safe to use, it is somewhat irrelevant. For the past year our focus has been placed on making the robot safe for someone to use in their home and for intimacy. As you may also be able to see from our videos our robot is easily moved around and shows that you cannot hurt it nor can it hurt you. In other words, we believe you must have the correct vehicle so to speak before you can start adding accessories. Our entire systems are based on a unique philosphy.

We look forward to completing the patent process and putting our product into the hands of our customers.

Once again, your comments and feedback have been encouraging and we look forward to updating you on our continued progress.

I'm glad to hear that things are moving along. I hope that the light weight now will mean room for packing in more hardware later! (I actually like to feel a little weight for realism.) At any rate, the fact that you have successfully demonstrated that your robot is completely self-contained with NO external pneumatics, pulleys, or power requirements is a HUGE step. This is very promising. I hope things continue to improve.

Although after owning a realdoll, which turns out to be FAR more delicate than advertised, I can't be too sure about the "you can't hurt it" statement given our current state and cost of materials technology. Still, I am impressed that your robot is capable of some basic movements at this time, is able to understand and react to some basic commands, and pressing buttons and coming with a remote don't hurt either! Not only does it meet the basic requirements of BEING a robot, but your female model also has a cute face.
