Battlestar Gallactica and Caprica

I'm sure most of you know about Battlestar, the recent SyFy series. The cylons were human looking machines. In fact, they were so human looking, there was literally no discernible difference between them and humans, which ruined the illusion for me.

The new prequel show Caprica, however, shows how they were created, so there's a bit more fembot action. Though most of it is in a program construct like the Holodeck.

It's an extremely good series, despite the fact (or maybe because of the fact) that it takes time and effort to get into. To my mind, though, there's little that would be of interest to most people on this board (myself excepted), as all of the "action" is hallucinatory or in virtual reality. I think you'd really have to watch an episode to decide if you liked it or not; my recommendation in advance wouldn't be worth much.
