That was fun, thanks for sharing! I admit to being extremely curious what these experiences must be like, though I will never do it myself because I'm married and that crosses the line for me.
The poem implies that you either had one girl pretend to be three different robots, or that you actually got three girls on a conference line. Assuming this is based on a true story, care to shed some light?

Chicago was replaced by evil aliens sometime in 1976. That's the only explanation. How else does a band go from the awesome of "Beginnings" to the total Suckville, Ontario, that is "You're the Inspiration?"

All I can say is that after this hypothetical abduction, they went on to have a hilarious appearance on Aqua Teen Hunger Force, so I think that's a good thing.

Re: Another blog...
I read your blog occasionally, so *waves hi*!
And personally, Spot, I like most of Chicago's hits, but, like the Doobie Brothers in the Michael McDonald years, they had an extremely talented vocalist and made almost every song (or at least every single) sound exactly the same (Chicago did it with Peter Cetera). But there are definitely bright spots in there, and the harmony is wonderful to sing to as well. (and the parody of him on Family Guy is hilarious... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3auSzKQhH44 & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cAew40UpBo (sorry for the crappy sound quality on this one...) & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bu2mkDpkNZI ) ^_^ Happy Thanksgiving to our American friends!
