Seems promising. :D

Wow, and I thought Pirates and Pirates 2: Stagnetti's Revenge had the highest budgets for porn films done over the last two years. This looks pretty interesting...

They should have called it "2040 - Sex".
Sigh. Sorry.

Just a promotion to win a real doll they used in the movie iff you join the site. I checked it out a couple days ago and thought the same thing at first.

I think Frank at robolust (formerly hypnolust, until he found that there was a demand for robo-vids that has helped put him in the c4s top 10 for a year or so running) would probably beg to differ on the "no funds for indie robot stuff" meme.

Yes, I, like many have seen the stuff that's been improperly uploaded to FTP, and with 1 or 2 exceptions, have frankly been glad I didn't waste money on it. We all have our tastes......

Besides, I've already spent way too much money on Japanese indie stuff (which I DON'T upload to the general FTPs, by the way, though lots of the non-indie stuff from major production houses... well my lawyers tell me not to take credit)
I guess I could further add that Japan makes it fairly easy to purchase such things without using a credit card. I still think that's the huge problem. Nobody wants this stuff on their monthly credit card statement.

Though it is still hard to not feel a bit self-conscious being the only white guy in the porn shop and/or browsing the heroine DVD racks at the specialty comic shop..the Comic Book Guy wants to strike up a conversation! No thanks.

Is there any progress on the e-money front in the States these days? Any way to buy e-cash at Wal-Mart of 7-Eleven with real dollars?

Kind fo straying from the OP, but I'll run with it.

The comment is about a few things. It's about how every time a video producer stops by the forums, they get pelted with long lists of ideas (GIMMIE GIMMIE GIMMIE!!!) but no monetary support. I've seen people here actually complain that privately produced ASFR flavoured videos didn't contain exactly what they wanted to see. In the past, when people have suggested pooling money to script and commission a fembot video, it's gone nowhere because no one actually wants to lay down any cash. That and the very few fembot fetish videos that private producers make always end up on the ftp servers, so hardly anyone supports even these few sources. It all makes this community look very selfish and unwilling to support anything.
</rant>
I completely understand your point. It's hard to set up a money pool to fund such a project, my guess is that ASFR covers so many grounds is virtually impossible to keep everybody happy about it. And a lot of people isn't eager to have something like "KINGOFPORN VIDEOPRODUCTIONS" in their credit card statements. I have bought a lot of videos from independent producers (that's the reason I asked you in the first place), but I haven't ever thought of funding an indie movie. Why?, well it's too expensive in the first place (at least for me), and as soon as I see the classic "make it a forced transformation theme" or "she's completely unaware she's a fembot until the very end of the video" kind of comments, I'm sent running away

This may not mean anything I'll let the reader decide but how much is it to hire the cast and crew $100K? You can see that very few people will throw alot of cash if nothin even gets past the planning stage. I got an idea but whether or not an actually producer would even go for it...

Don't forget the sense of entitlement IS STILL extermely strong! Here in the states (I don't know about the rest of North America however) Heck I wish I can do an anime but I can't do women voices I would have to find someone to volunteer. I don't know if any one would want to do that. <cry>

Holy SHIT!

Shocked

Have they finally HEARD us?

That's exactly what went through my mind when I saw the opening scene in the trailer.

It is most DEFINITELY on my buy list for sure.

I agree on the fact I hope a lot of the members on here will find many of their likes in this video and purchase it. I was sold on the opening scene alone and all it did was build as I watched it. Nice to see that someone actually took the time to make it look like what most of the members have been talking about all these glorious years.

Just happy I stumbled upon the video to say the least. LOL

Thank you, my friend. Haven't gotten the chance to check the vid yet, so these came in very handy.

Excited to see this one, putting my order in soon!

It looks like they make a real effort to address story and effects. I read that the director made another big budget adult video titled:Pirates, which was so successful they made a sequel. If this one does well, perhaps we can expect more down the rode.
