The new reconstructed version of the old classic Metropolis came out on DVD about a week ago. I bought it last night at Barnes & Noble. Haven't watched it all the way through yet but it looks good so far. It's a vast improvement quality-wise over my other DVD version (from Madacy Entertainment) and there are some nice extras.
Btw, my avatar comes from this film. He's one of the onlookers at the Yoshiwara club that gets an eyefull of the dancing mechanical Maria. Seemed an appropriate choice, considering my interests.
