Studio 360

Caught a show called "Studio 360" on my local NPR station this sunday.
The first segment was about jug bands in portland of all things but the last 45 minutes of the show focused on robots. The segment with Susie Brite is of particular interest to the folks around here.

Thanks tectile for a great find! The Susie Bright section was definitely worth it. It's obvious she's not aware of the full range of how female robots are portrayed within this community, but she's got a decent grasp of how the mainstream media treats them.

Most important, I take it as a positive sign that the fetish side of robots got such a big chunk of the program's air time.

I kind of got the idea that Mr. Rodney Brooks mite have had a look at some ASFR sites.

The idea of a brilliant scientist/researcher taking a break from all that heavy thinking and taking a peek at the FAC or perhaps reading a story or two at the LTBSA makes me grinn. hehe!

If you can find a little handy shareware called "Streambox VCR"
your problems will be solved.

It records streams, audio or video... usually works.
Naturally, such a program is not popular with THE MAN.
