Microsoft putting its muscle behind robotics?

Some of us have always felt it would take a surprisingly far-sighted and well-moneyed man to gather the troops on the idea of a fully functional android as opposed to the tech demos we've seen in the past few decades. A Microsoft of sorts.

Well, at least it's happening. If Microsoft did go into this business, we can pretty much expect it to develop a reputation for proper testing and quality, because the damage that a bug or mistake that a hardware error can cause can be considerably more damaging than a script kiddie assault on Excel.

Either that or it'll get the same medicine it's been dishing out for ages to other software companies.
