Young Hercules "Fembot"

I remember catching an episode of this series once where young Hercules' rival (spurned by the rejection of Hercules' love interest, I guess), creates a duplicate "robot" to be his love interest. It wasn't quite a robot, but it was really close. It was apparently a gold statue brought to life (the actress was in her late teens, I think, maybe early `20s, and was completely coloured gold), but she acted very robotically. I believe she "died" at the end when she wouldn't save herself at the expense of her "master", or wouldn't follow his orders to save herself. I'm gonna do a bit of looking into this, but I only saw the last ten minutes of the episode, so I'm not sure how good this actually was.

It's Episode Ten - Cyrano de Hercules, aired September 28, 1998

Synopsis - Hephaestus, failing to gain the interest of the fairer sex builds a woman of his own, but his jealousy could endanger Hercules when the woman falls for him instead of the God of Steel.

Oh, yeah, I remember that short-lived series...

They were trying to build on the "other" Hercules series (with Kevin Sorbo), but it didn't last too long

It's running on Starz "WAM", and they are running Wierd Science as well. Which is why I hate my cable company for dropping the channel a year ago. :cry: NFL Network took it's place :roll: :cussing:

Episode 10 will air on WAM on 18 August (Wednesday) at 1707 (5:07 PM) and 2330 (11:30 PM), and also on 19 August (Thursday) at 1645 (4:45 PM).
