Mirror Image (Redux)

Four and a half years ago I posted my first story to the forum entitled Mirror Image. A number of really fantastic stories had just been posted and there were several long running discussions associated with them about the value of free will in a synthetic companion and where reprogramming might cross some sort of line in terms of what it means to be a person. The combination of the stories and the discussions that went along with them inspired me to write a story that was a bit of a deconstruction of the typical "boy meets bot" tale. Some of you might remember the story, others of you might not, but recently I had picked up the pen again and i figured it might be worth going back and dusting off Mirror Images to be posted on other forums.

To my dismay I realized what all the fan service and walls of explanatory text compromised the actual storytelling to a significant degree. Therefore over the last few weeks I substantially re-wrote Mirror Image and now I am re-releasing it on the board. For those of you who have read it in the past and still remember it I urge you to give it another try as between 66 and 75% of the story is either completely new or completely re-written. The writing is better, the characterization is better and the plot is better. Unfortunately(?) I did remove much of the adult and explicit content. Like I said I needed to have this appeal to general audiences and it did wind up seriously detracting from the narrative flow. If you are wondering what you are missing you can check out the original Chapter 7 which would go before the new Chapter 7.

For those of you who are unsure if you should read this the general outline is as follows. A human from a modern day Earth with a robot fetish meets up with an advanced gynoid from an alternate reality with a bio human fetish. Stuff happens.

I really don't want to give away much more than that, but if you read Extracted by aware that there is loads more fembot content in this story so just because I said I took out all the p0rn doesn't mean its now devoid of ASFR.

I am putting the entire story on Shifti as it does involve human to bot and bot to human transformations and also that wiki provides for easier formatting and larger page sizes than is available here on FBC.

Finally got around to reading this.

Very good story, believable characters with believable character development. Nicely plotted story universe.

There aren't too many stories with bot to human TF, but this one pulled it out well with a logical reason, rather than one dictated by simple fetish candy.

Overall, good story.
