It's basically the plot of Chrome Angels (pretty much wholesale, actually, but probably with the budget to do it justice)

Rosamund Pike (who played Bruce Willis' reasonably hot Surrogate wife)

Edgar Wright (no stranger to technosexual themes - watch Scott Pilgrim if you're unfamiliar)
Despite being played for laughs, this might legitimately have some good content.

I knew about it, but only recently has it been revealed that the antagonists are actually robots. However, I SORT OF suspect them robots are of the "weird-alien-tech-syntethic" variety and not the "sexy-built-in-a-lab" type. If my memory serves me, it's supposed to be less "Chrome Angels" and more "Body Snatchers" in terms of tone and plot.
