I'm not sure if this question has been asked before but which would you prefer under the artificial skin, Padding or Metal? Or no skin at all?

I'd prefer heated padding for those cold winter nights.

I like a mix of padding and of metal. And the heating would be the waste energy from the processors and motors being moved to the skin for dissipation.

Make it as indistinguishable as possible from a biological entity.

I like the idea of a mix, with the ability to turn heating off.

She needs to be able to control her heat signature, to be invisible to infrared, or to scan as human.

Multilayer silicone, with heat reflection properties where it's not heated but will reflect heat back with high efficiency to someone touching it.

Slightly unnatural looking skin tone, with no pilosity (but hairs on the head).
