Annabelle - Robolust

I was wondering if any of you has watched and has any thoughts on Annabelle, most recent robot clip on Robolust. Any good?

I used to be a big fan of the website (kina kai, kendra james, brandi edwards), but recently I've been very disappointed at the poor acting and script and just can't afford every single clip that comes out.

Let me know of any thoughts!

Haven't watch Annabelle, but I'm surprised to hear you say you've been disappointed, as I thought 2011 had been a fairly solid year. Anyway, my most recent purchase was Jazmine, and I thought she did a very good job, much improved over her 1st visit.

Sometimes they are, sometimes they're not. I would guess it's because Frank is prepping the model for the malfunctioning robot segment.

My understanding of this is that in the TF videos the girls are "hypnotized" to think and act like they are robots while in the "malfunctioning robot" segments it's understood that the girls are supposed to be actual robots from beginning to end. I don't think it's supposed to be a statement one way or the other, it's just a means of identifying the difference between built and acting like a robot.

I think that some of the pervious actresses such as Kendra James, Megan and Mia McKinley all had a sense of how to 'act robotic' in their videos. Chelsea is another one who understood the nature of being robotic. I think that you must find those types of actresses again that can pull off the idea of being a robot that was built and I think the clips would be thought of as better. My opinion though....

To be fair, some get it over time. As mentioned, I thought Jazmine was much improved with her robot acting in her second visit. Though, yes, a lot of first timers nail it out of the park- Gracie Glam, Christy Mack, and Reagan Manx all being good examples, in my opinion.

Hey King, always good to see your thoughts and input on stuff like this. It's funny what each of us consider to be good in relation to the productions at Hypnolust/Robolust.

For instance, although I didn't think she looked that great in her first visit, I thought Jazmine's performance was outstanding, especially during her malfunction/repair scenes. I do agree that her second visit was great as well but not above and beyond the first visit. Plus she looked so damn beautiful in her second visit, I think it was her hair that made the difference. Overall what I like about her in both visits is her attitude. As Windupdolluver alluded to, I think she "gets" what it is about this fantasy that turns people on.

Reagan Manx and Christy Mack were absolutely wonderful in their debut performances as well. Both are in my top ten. Gracie Glam though, I may need to go back and watch again but i was not impressed at all. I absolutely love Lacy Lynn though and I don't think I've ever heard anyone else say that they enjoy her clips at all. I'm also a big fan of Brianna Beach and I love Christina Carter and Diana Knight.

As always personal preferences are the things that make us unique in our enjoyment of this genre and I'm not saying anybody is right or wrong, I think it would be cool to maybe discuss what it is we like about the individual performances some time and get an idea why we choose the ladies that we do.

Also, Windupdolluver, Mia McKinley was at the top of my favorite list for a long time after her first appearance. Great choice there.

Lacy's good, but I wouldn't list her as one of my faves. Though I do enjoy watching her clips, because she has an adorable figure. You're right on the money about Briana, Diana, Mia, and Kendra, though. Other girls that I thought put in very good performances include Giselle Humes, Allie Foster, Catherine Fox, Lola Lynn, Audrey Lords, Jaelyn Fox, Delila Darling, and Brandi Edwards.

Hmm... How many models have had four visits? At my count, we've got Kendra, Candle, Lola, Ashely Grace (if we count her two duet sessions), and Lacy (likewise). I wonder who (if any) of those ladies will be the first 5-timer.

Quick retraction, after going back and watching Gracie's video, she did an amazing job. I was thinking of Stacey, kind of a similar look but not nearly as good at portrayal as Gracie. I'm in full agreement with you on Audrey Lords as well, a little unconventional style but it really works well in the context of her video. I almost forgot one of my absolute favorites and she wasn't particularly great with movements but the way she delivers her lines totally hooked me and that was Dre Hazel, absolutely loved her set.

Also to get back on track with the thread title, awaiting the Annabelle set to be posted some time today.

Update: Annabelle ended up being pretty decent. She definitely got into the spirit of the scenario and seemed to understand the finer points of malfunctioning and the dialogue that goes along with it. I'd be happy if I had purchased this video from c4s if I wasn't already a member at hypnolust. As always, that's only my opinion, maybe someone else could chime in and let jazzfan know what they think.

I hope to be joining in March (thank GOD for that extra pay week and the company bonus to give me a little extra spending cash). If anyone's curious, I picked up Keinna (or however you spell that) Va'Tal's last weekend. Not bad, I'd probably give it a C+/ B-. When she's speaking in monotone, it almost sounds like there's a bit of southern twang which isn't really present when she's speaking normally, which is kind of odd. Also, her eyes dart around a in the beginning when she's supposed to be frozen or inactive, though she seems to overcome this later in the segment.

I kind of grade Frank's videos on a trend line, and the trend has been up in 2012, as he seems to be coaching the girls better (or getting girls who 'get it' more).

I think we all have our own thoughts as I said before about the Robolust Videos. I have purchased a few from Evengeline as well, and have been pleased with some of the stories as well as the odels who are portraying fembots as well.

looks pretty decent from the images but it's rather expensive. im mainly into malfunctions, stiff movement, walking, and monotone voice.

I agree with you about Mia McKinley. She gives a great performance. However I haven't seen her on Hypno/Robolust in quite a while. She does, however, work for Just For Fun Studios on Clips For Sale. I think her work there is better. They put out a video called Slut-bot that is teriffic.

The nature of how Frank shoots videos for Robolust kind creates a hit or miss environment. He likes to try new girls and some do quite well, while many struggle. The girls are constantly traveling, so the overwhelming majority of them are looking at the scripts for the first time on the day of a shoot. They don't have time to learn the dialog, but instead read a few phrases off cards and simply try to improvise around Frank's direction. Some of the C4S channels produce fewer, but more involved shoots, however nobody produces the volume Robolust does. I write a large number,if not the majority of the scripts, but much is cut or altered due to time and sometimes acting limitations. There are several girls that turn out really nice performances and when invited back tend to keep getting better. Watch for these actresses:

I haven't seen any clips in a couple of months although I still write for them. I encourage others to submit ideas as well. It lightens their workload and encourages them to produce more ASFR material. I wrote both the Annabelle and Pocahontas clips, however I rarely know who I'm writing for. I did write Kendra's last two clips with her in mind and she totally nailed both of them. I wrote a transformation script a while back, but it got pretty messed up. I think the actress that did it was Allura Skye. Frank tends to revisit scripts, so just keep an eye out, they may reshoot it with an actress better at robot acting. We are very fortunate, a few years back there was virtually nothing being produced for our genre, now we have numerous options. I think all of us appreciate reviews, since most of as can't afford to buy every clip that comes out. Thanks for all the input.

I actually liked Allura's clip. I thought she did reasonably well for a first timer.

As for submissions, I did send Frank one once, but he never got around to it (the premise being that a fembot's signal gets crossed with her boyfriend's Xbox Live wireless signal- "Achievement Unlocked- Your girlfriend is masturbating!"), but I can't blame him for that. Fembot clips are niche enough without throwing in video game humor.

Time constraints have prevented me from fleshing out and sending in another one.

I have sent about a dozen or more scripts this year that Frank has shelved. Every now and then one pops up that I nearly forgot I had written. Your idea sounds like it could result in a pretty cool clip given the right actress. Keep in mind that they don't generally use male actors, so write solo-girl stories that require limited physical interaction as Frank is usually behind the camera. Obviously two-girl clips can offer more flexibility, but are less common due to the extra cost. I think the actresses sometimes do better in these scenarios, as it is helpful to have another actress to play off of.
