A couple quicktime shorts

Post by eyebore » Sat Jan 29, 2005 7:00 am

I was surfing last night and found a couple of shorts that some of you may be interested in.

http://www.torkvar.com/klone/prop.html "kein Gefuhl"

Oh by the way if anyone missed Andromeda last night of SciFi, it actually had some decent asfr content involving repairs, malfunctions, impaired speech ect. There was some decent acting, but I felt kind of cheeted on the special effects.

Neat! Some good finds there, EB.

The first one, you couldn't tell right away, until she cut her finger...and when she went to get the paper.

But, it seems pretty typical of gynoid films...use 'em and dump em...and an interesting twist as to how she discovers how she's been used.

Interesting how she discovers the control crystal in her head, and takes revenge on her master/owner at the end.

I haven't seen the second one yet...mainly because I can't get it to play.

Ah, got it...interesting video, though a bit hard to follow...

What is the Andromeda episode you are referring to? They play it so many times during the week, its hard to figure out exactly which one you mean. Can you give the episode title please? Thanks.

I'm thinking it must be "Moonlight Becomes You", but that's just a guess. The online synopsis at andromedatv.com mentions Doyle getting her circuits fried.

You should be able to change the options in your quicktime player so that it saves the movies in your temporary internet files folder. After that, it's as simple as going into that folder, looking for any .mov files in there, and moving them to a more "permanent" space on your HD.

An easy way to find quicktime movies you just watched is to
just use Windows to search your hard disk (especially the
Temporary Internet cache folders) for any big files
over a certain size (10MB is good) that were created
within the past day. The quicktime movie should be easy to spot.

Just copy it to another dierectory and give it a name you want.

if you know the location of the file and the name you can create an html page with the link and download it.

For example if the movie file was at http://www.pagenamehere.com/images/Vide ... Medium.mov

All you would have to do is open word or any other program that can save as html, enter any text in and make it hyperlink to the address. Save the document as html and when you open your newly created html document in your browser, right click on the text and download the target file.

Probably sounds more complicated than it is, but it is late.
