I have two announcements:

First:
I have just been informed by Dreamhost that they are going to be migrating their servers from MySQL 5.7.x to MySQL 8.0.x. This is going to be occuring between 1am and 7am PDT on Tuesday, October 5. During this time FembotWiki may not be accessible, or may act unusally. They expect this upgrade to take only about ten minutes, but it could take longer. Due to the fact that Blox and I have been diligent about keeping the wiki up-to-date, there should be no compatiblity issues, but we can't guarantee how the various extensions we are using will work with the new MySQL 8 upgrade.

After the upgrade, the wiki might run more smoothly and securely, so hopefully all goes well.

Second:
I will be on vacation from Thursday, September 30, until Thursday, October 7. During this time, I will still be able to access the wiki via my phone and a new 14" laptop I recently purchased for travel purposes. However, aside from updating the FembotWiki Main Page this Friday, I will not be available for any low priority tasks. If anyone wants to create a new account, or needs technical support, they will either need to wait until I return, or contact my Admin staff:

Evil_Boo

I will, of course, be monitoring the wiki whenever I get a chance, just in case anything malicious occurs in my absence. Otherwise, please rely on my staff.

The PHP version on the wiki has been upgraded from 8.0.2 to 8.1.0.

You should notice snappier loading times, but please let us know if there are any bugs.
