Some folks here might not know this guy... but if you a fan of ANIME, you just MAY know his name.......or especially his VOICE!!! --- Peter Fernandez was a driving force in bringing Japanese animation to the American masses ...he is the voice of the American 'SPEED RACER" among many others --but he was not just a voice on hundreds of cartoons... he was instrumental on bringing several titles to an anime fan's attention and I for one am VERY thankful for all of his efforts ..... Some of Peter's credits include SPEED RACER, GIGANTOR, GATCHAMAN (BATTLE OF THE PLANETS) MARINE BOY, STAR BLAZERS, ....the list goes on, and he even voiced characters in Nickelodeon's SPEED RACER-THE NEXT GENERATION ...(I for one was not a big fan of this series, but Peter still gave it a little class) ----WRITER, PRODUCER, VOICE MAN ...Peter was a class act---heck, he even had a custom made MACH FIVE that he brought to conventions.... He will be missed--- minkwheel
