I mean, we could decide it's pretty safe to conclude that there would be no point in shutting down for the day, since FC members are strongly inclined against the control of evil corporations and governments.
Participate or not, I'm personally not very inclined to shutdown; but if we do not participate, I would like that to have been a conscious choice. I'm not calling for a vote, just opening this topic for conversation. Perhaps members will choose to shut down their personal web sites.
