Two Firefighters Die in Boston - Original Song

Since this happened a street or two over from me, albeit further down, it still a tremendous tragedy.

You can read about the loss of two firefighters and the rest of the day's heroism by clicking here. My grandfather was a firefighter for over 30 years, so it's...it hits close to me. Plus, during my taxi ride to the subway we could see it from across the Charles River. It was a bit emotional, but I waited till I got home to cry. My prayers and condolences go out to all the families affected by this terrible tragedy. Luckily, the death toll was low, but one death is one too many.

So, I was going to write a song using the "Boston Strong" phrase since this is where I am currently and I was watching telly when the bombs went off near the finish line. This song crept into my head all afternoon yesterday, but I just had to change some lyrics after this fire. There will be fatal fires in the future just like there were in the past, but this one is fresh in our minds. It is a day of mourning in Boston.

Im from Rhode Island & this is the top news story all day, my thoughts & prayers to the all firefighters & there families of these guy..... they gave there lives to save others...THATS whats its all about may they rest in peace. & it should BE NEW ENLAND STRONG;)
