Philip Seymour Hoffman has died

Post by DukeNukem 2417 » Sun Feb 02, 2014 2:15 pm

https://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie-ne ... 25678.html

I based the character of Cedric Harcourt in The V.I.C.I. Diaries on Hoffman, as a more serious version of Brandt from The Big Lebowski and partially inspired by his character from Catching Fire. Seeing the news of his death as soon as I got on Yahoo has effectively gutted me......

Requesiat in Pace, Mr. Hoffman. You will be missed.

P.S.: I know people on here have their reservations about reporting every celebrity death that comes around, but as I just stated, a character in the Diaries was based on PSH, and seeing as how the most recent story takes place in 2011, it's going to be damned difficult writing for a character whose "actor" has died in real life.
