Question about action figure sizes

Question about action figure sizes

Does anyone here have an opinion on the increasing number of action figure series being reduced to 4 inches? If so, feel free to reply to this post.

It's really just a COST issue. Since most action figures are basically there to advertise a movie, or animated property... most toy companies would rather save money, and make the figure as simply as possible... not so much ACTION in an action figure... Sure, some places like NECA and McFARLANE will give you uber detailed figures that are gorgeous in and out of the box... but I don't know ANYONE who plays with them.... they are just for display. We'll all see action figure shows galore when HASBRO takes over the DISCOVERY KIDS channel soon. Just a HEADS UP there. --minkwheel
