Happy 14th Anniversary FembotWiki!

State of the Wiki address:
It's been another difficult year, due to the continuing pandemic, but the wiki has still been going strong and has indeed never been better!

In 14 years of operation, we have had 82,775 files uploaded. That equates to 5,912 files a year, 114 files a week, and 16 files a day (some figures rounded up). We currently have the collected stories, art, and manips of 201 authors, and 188 artists. That's a net increase of 7,716 files, 1 author, and 7 artists from last year!

Now that the raw stats are out of the way, I just want to say this:
Since last year, Muzzleruffles, was also able to greatly expand our anime, cartoons, and manga/hentai sections. I'm also pleased to hear that many members joining Fembot Labs on Discord, and Fembot Central, have reported that their first contact with our community has been FembotWiki. Even after 14 years, FembotWiki is a crucial member of our small online community.

Due to Blox_242's continued assistance with his technical know-how, as well as improved standards from DreamHost, the following technical improvements have been made:
*Mediawiki version upgraded from 1.35.1, to 1.36, and now 1.37
*PHP version upgraded from 8.0.x to PHP 8.1.x, improving page loading speed, performance, and stability.
*MySQL version upgraded from 5.7.x to 8.0.x, improving page loading speed, performance, and stability.
*Various QOL improvements.

Unfortunately, due to technical limitations, we were forced to disable several extensions during the summer, including the hit counter. While this is disappointing to some, it allows the wiki to continue on, and it helped boost page loading performance even more.

It's amazing that these improvements all occurred within a year, and I am hoping for many more improvements to come throughout the rest of the year! Hopefully FembotWiki will last, and continue to grow for many years to come!
