New manips for your enjoyment at the usual place!

Feedback welcome:

What do you like?
What do you hate?

What do you want to see next or more of?
Vignette with text or simple picture for your own imagination to work on?
Work-safe implied or porn?

Oh - also: given finite time to dedicate to this sort of thing which do people think is more worthwhile - stories or pictures?

Words can paint a more vivid picture, including non-visual elements such as internal monologues, sounds, smells, etc... But they require more effort to be enjoyed. Images convey the scene instantly, but will often require more effort to create, and can only convey visual elements (plus short descriptive text as you've used in these).

From you: You do both wonderfully, but the material I've enjoyed most from your portfolio is when you've created images from stories. You do a fantastic job at describing things which cannot be conveyed visually, and which go beyond what might be included as a brief caption. I think, when you use an image as a starting point, your own direct understanding of the scene fills in some of the gaps which would be directly explained in a story, but when you use a story as a starting point, you've already gone through the process of "showing" all the important elements.

Now let some of your ladies get some sleep, for pity's sake! (Translation: More sleepers, please.)

BA--

First, amazing work as always.

Choose between your pics and your stories? Kishin got it in one. I doubt I could make that decision.

What else? I think your vignettes with text are brilliant. And while there's something to be said for the more subtle and suggestive approach, I won't tell you I don't like more explicitly sexy stuff as much or more...

But at any rate, thanks for everything you do produce for us! Always a huge treat, be it words or images!

BAM, so great. wow. very art value.
I want to throw my two bitcoins too.

Battery's top 3.

Favorite because the situation; it shows the robot behaving like the real human woman despite her mind is not real and she has no control of
it + boobs
http://www.fembotwiki.com/images/f/fa/Sorry_Officer.jpg

the humanity in the expression of the actress is an enormous contrast to the visibility of her artificiality and the fact she is an empty electronic shell that is changing her controllers is very inviting to try to abuse of her lack of true, inalterable self.
http://www.fembotwiki.com/index.php?tit ... alling.jpg

The short sentence, text and the smile of the girl creates the fast illusion that this is a juvenile--careless girl. the fact that her friend is going to alter something that defines her is a big turn on because it lets the reader-viewer mind to divagate and see scenes not existing + she is letting some one taking away a vital component like it is just the piece of an old cellphone, but it's no cellphone, it's her brain!
http://www.fembotwiki.com/images/d/de/A ... e_Park.jpg

situational nudity i think is more exciting sometimes than coital situations. at least in robots.
the text helps leading the the mind and i think it is desirable in complex situations that will require more than one look
but the lack of it is also good in ones like this:http://www.fembotwiki.com/images/9/90/Cardeject.jpg where text can limit the viewer to only one situation and reason.
you'll have to be the judge when the viewer will enjoy more BA.
how 'bout something energy loss related? Image.
Very enjoyable, i wish it was wine.

BA, you gotta see the potential is here for you to forge together the strengths you demonstrate in both media.

What precise form is that, I don't know!

Is it a few, simple, risqué images to plant characters and a setting in ours heads; then a fine story, then at the finale a link to pop-up the premiere image of narrative climax which inspired your story?

Maybe.

I was thinking that I should add a "kudos" here: the manips you do are among consistently among my favorites. I very much enjoy the brief snippets of a story to define what's going on in the picture.

I really like the "realistic/robotic" duality in pictures like http://www.fembotwiki.com/index.php?tit ... e-Shop.jpg and http://www.fembotwiki.com/index.php?tit ... _Dress.jpg . I like the mini-stories that indicate the fembot is a mere machine and the non-conflict of being a machine running some kind of software that thinks it's aware.

I think it would be interesting to put a different story on the same image manip to see how it appeals–for instance, the story on http://www.fembotwiki.com/index.php?tit ... alvage.jpg doesn't appeal to me all that much, but the same image could be used for a story about winning a bar bet for instance.

Your selection of models is great. One of my all-time favorite images is http://www.fembotwiki.com/index.php?tit ... t_A_TV.jpg since I think the model's body is my idea of ideal.

NSFW or SFW is not really an issue for me ... the framework of an appealing fantasy is all I need.
May your deeds return to you tenfold,

Making me choose between your stories or pics is like making me choose to never eat beef again or never eat pork again :(

I guess I would cast a very reluctant vote for stories.

If you decide to concentrate on images, I always enjoy the captions.

Thanks for all your amazing work.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I appreciate it.

My motivation is internal - I'd still write and manip for myself even if I was the only one in the World with this particular kink - but having input like this is great inspiration! It lets me get an outside view and see what works and what doesn't without my own close involvement getting in the way.

I've no intention on giving up either pictures or stories but I find it interesting how each media works the imagination in a different way. For me images are less hard work to produce because the end result is clearly 'visible' before I start. I can leave a manip half done, come back to it a year later and still immediately see where I was going with it. With writing it is harder to capture the idea short of completing the story; I do produce plans to guide my writing but coming back to these after a while doesn't rekindle the inspiration like a picture does. I tend to have to write in one binge splurge of output and return to edit and correct, I guess this is why I have several unfinished longer stories!

The image caption started from my frustration at seeing the potential vignette in an image but needing to express events over time. Ideally a short 3-panel strip would achieve this but it is really unusual to find 3 suitable images to work with: hence the captions. I'm happier with some than others, I think they work best if short and I try to condense the 'story' as much as possible.

WW - sleepers yes!

Korby - my pleasure; and I won't be giving up the robot porn!

Battery - You've nailed exactly what I was going for in each of these, I'm delighted that you obviously 'get it'! "Situational nudity" - good phrase - exactly what works.

Battery, N6688 - Energy loss, malfunctions, I love them too - when the right base pic comes along...

tectile, Kishin, Epitaph - No choice needed!

Body - More machinely indeed! Do you like 'machine on the inside, woman on the outside' or 'robot-girls' (women who look like sexy robots) or both of these?

Dale - This is exactly where I want to go. My ideal format would be a wordy photo-comic with a mix of prose pages, full-page manips and annotated panels all working together to tell the story (maybe a few gifs in the online version...) I've tried a few comic style vignettes and am happy with the result, the limiting factor here is the availability of suitable images that can be strung together. I've thought of 'harvesting' a movie to get what I need as this will provide images of consistent characters in a range of situations but it sounds like a lot of work... The only practical way I can see of producing this sort of photo comic is to pay models to pose the scenes which begs the question, "why not just make a movie"? I'll figure this out eventually!

Bilbo - Glad you like her (+boobs) - sadly, this is the only pic I have and I've no idea who she is but I'll keep my eyes open...

Jolshefsky - I'm glad you like the 'two tone' effect. It seems sensible to me that an 'everyday' fembot only needs to be realistically finished on the bits seen outside her clothes; this is a powerful reinforcement of their artificial nature to me. I understand the thing with image captions, I don't want to spoil someone else's suspension of disbelief by pushing my own interpretation too hard. If you, or anyone, wants a clean (no text) version of any of my pics just let me know and I'll post it on the Wiki - you can add your own caption, the bar bet sounds promising...! I like t he "Not a TV" image but am not quite satisfied with the depth inside her open panel, I might revisit this...

I have previously arranged the tools to harvest a video to harvest the images, but of course my HD is still in recovery limbo.

I used: VLC to run the video at slower speed.
??? to recapture the video, then
???? to capture every Xth frame - or - ????? to select the frames by hand (which is required often to get the moment you want without a blink or blur.

also: between a posed model and movie, lies a set of storyboards… from which a movie could follow, the performers and crew knowing the objective with great confidence.
