Request: This old Korby manip (the full one)

Right, ladies and gentlemen---it's time to play "Complete the Picture".

After running DiskDigger on my old PC last night, I was able to recover HALF of an old Korby manip---the half seen in the linked-to image, to be precise. I've been searching for the full image for a good long while, and have been unable to find it.....if anyone has it, I'd greatly appreciate it if they'd post the full picture.

Dear God, that's going back a ways! Probably a good 10 years, at a rough guess.

There's a decent chance it could be on an old CD of backup files. It might take a little searching to turn that disc up, mind you; I'll see what I can do as time permits. I might get a chance to dig for it tomorrow.

On the other hand, it could be on the hard drive of either of a couple now-dead computers; in that case, it might see the light of day somewhere down the road, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Those hard drives have been lying about untouched for a couple years now, and I don't know how soon recovering their data is likely to make it to the top of my priority list. Damn trying to be a responsible adult, anyhow.

Still--I'll look for the CD first chance I get. Could get lucky.

If anyone else has it squirreled away somewhere, and can dig it out faster--please feel free!

Wow, the first reply is from the man himself! NICE!

I sincerely hope the backup CD is still viable, Korby---I've lost more than a few of mine over the years, which SUCKS. Speaking of years, I first joined Fembot Central way the hell back in 2005, when the Gallery was still up; I still wish some of those pics could be ported over to the Wiki, or at least a Manippable Pics gallery off-site could be made for hosting some of the "source pics" from the old Gallery.

Still, looking forward to your posting of the full image, Korby---and thanks for replying.

No luck finding the CD last night, but nil desperandum. I might have time for a more determined search this weekend!

Well, I heartily despise to admit of it, but the facts are these: I performed a full-on Phase One hard-target search, of the kind Jim Kirk and Sam Gerard can be proud (outhouse, henhouse, doghouse, etc.) and turned up... nothing. I found a few CDs that date back to the same archaeological epoch, but not The One Disc, as it were.

It could still be around! It could be very cleverly hidden, so much so that I may never find it again. To be totally candid, on the other hand, the possibility exists that I may have destroyed or discarded it along the way somewhere, for reasons that probably seemed awfully compelling at the time.

But it surely ain't anywhere that I can think of right now. So that image may remain half-complete for the time being.

Who knows? It could turn up, you know... But I'm out of ideas for now.
