I own that whole comic series, just for the fact of Candy. In the first issue she doesn't know she is a gynoid until the lightning strikes the street car she and other members of 'The Strangers' are on. She discovers she is a gynoid when she's walking down the street and she cuts her arm on a gate, and sees the wiring inside
