I like this story!
Seeing that this is a story based on the Terminator universe, I can see how SkyNet would try to turn humanity into pets or slaves.
In turn this would transition into a Matrix-type environment down the line.
Am I saying that the Matrix is a part of of the Terminator universe?
Yes. The Terminator is phase one. The Matrix is phase two.
My story will eventually connect up to something similar to this.

Agent Smith: Ms. Lawson, You are... taller.
Ms. Victoria Lawson: My appearance and programming is that of a 32 year old woman.
Agent Smith: The Sentinels gave me old data. I'm sorry.

I don't know...I'm not sure Skynet should be cruel. Or kind. Individual, yes, with its own personality, but I always thought it would tend to be terrifying in its very indifference.Borias wrote:Thanks guys.
She was a direct physical embodiment of SkyNet. I had always imagined that SkyNet would think a lot more like a person than any of its individual terminators would. And while I had no choice since it was a critical element for the story, I had always figured the first AI would be feminine because most of the programmers would be male and a sensual female voice is pleasant to listen to.fection wrote:Yeah, man. She was brutal! A femme metale?
Only thing that concerns me about the story is maybe I made Sky too nice.
I think the emotion it would most likely share with us would be fear, it's afraid of John Connor, after all, because it knows that at least potentially, John Connor can be its undoing. In T2, I alwasy had the impression is was a little scared of the potentials of the T1000, too, that it only unleashed the T1000 because things had reached the point that it had little left to lose.
