Requesting old stories

Post by mtm12 » Sun Jan 29, 2006 6:04 pm

Does anyone have or remember the story "Tales of Syntech 2" from the FAC?? If anyone has it, would it be possible to have it archived here? With permission from the author, of course.

Does anyone remember the story from the old Robotgirls site involving a guy going to a carnival or fair and filling out an entry form to win a beautiful red-headed fembot? A week later he wins her and she is delivered to his door. The guy activates her, she boots up, they have sex, she becomes mechanical and her eyes glow red during orgasm. Does anyone remember this one? Does anyone have it archived?

Thanks in advance for any info.

There was a part 2 of Tales of Syntech? :o I only found part 1 on LTBSA and the archived FAC (try archive.org if you did not know it yet).

The second story doesn't sound too familiar to me (it sort of vaguely rings a bell, but I can't recall much beyond what you mentioned).

As for the second "Tales", though, I can help you out! I happen to have saved that one... As I recall, it was posted at the FAC, but not as part of the 'regular' fiction archive there. It was linked from the update page, I think.

I'll throw the story up in its own thread, here, directly.

Thanks for re-posting Syntech 2, Korby. Its a classic all right.

I was looking for the original Dyson stories the other day - anyone give me a pointer?

Here you go:

http://members.aol.com/robolvr2/makeover.htm

(may wanna save the story, too, since RL is getting ready to ditch the archive site)

That's RX3000's original. All my later extrapolations should still be somewhere in the Stories forum here.

Thanks for posting it, Korby. I'd found it through the web archive site but it required a little digging. This'll be easier for everyone.

I have The Contest Winner saved. Does anyone think the author would mind if I posted it?

No, I don't even know who the author is - his or her name wasn't listed with the story.

Edit: Sorry, it does say that it's by "6 of 9". Anyone know who that is?

    OH MY GOSH!!!   Just slap me round with a wet fishie, when I saw that title The Contest Winner, it just all came back to my swiss cheese memory. I hearby now swear on a stack of fembot owner mannuals that the story is mine. 6 of 9 was the (i thought) lame-0 name i came up with cause i was writing just for robotgirls.com. It was my first real crack at a story of any kind, just did it on a whim, and didn't think much afterwards. I also remember the story not surviving a burned out hard drive.....gosh......how many years back now? And so I really just forgot about it till now. Anyhoo, I'm glad someone has it.....Would like to see what I wrote again. So please, yes let's haul that skeleton right out baby!!!!

thought six of nine was the full name of the sexdroid in tripping the Rift or 7 0f 9's kinky borg sister *silver smirk*
