Beyond The Century (New Story That May Appeal To Some)

I wrote a new story that features a clockwork girl. Her age is not specified, so I guess it's imagine her as you see fit... But this wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, though...it's not the usual stuff you see here. I have to ask, though... there was one point in the story where you had someone named O'Neill and someone named Dyson. Was that deliberate?

(Do you know why I picked up on that pair of names?)

There was a deliberate reason I named one family "O'Neill" cause it's a friends' name and I sometimes have trouble coming up with good last names. Dyson was a name I think I made up a long time ago in a really old story that I never finished.

And, actually, I don't know why...lol..now I'm curious! There wer deliberate reasons for a lot of the stuff in the story, though...I call it "allegorical" lol.

Gerard K. O'Neill and Freeman Dyson were two leading proponents of human space colonization, both offering serious proposals of how it could and might someday be done.

Not directly android-relevant of course, but I figure many folks interested in androids are likely interested in other futuristic things such as space travel and colonization, hence know the names.
