The book is by some Peter-Paul Ibsen and deals with lots of female androids. They are all women´s lib and their language is far better than that of the humans. It´s about matters of education and individuality as opposed to fundemetalism and other backward concepts. True, but there wouldn't have to be if android tech becomes distributed and commonplace. You'd do it for the hell of it, just like some people have way more PC than they know what to do with, just because. Labor and logistics keeps cars pricey, but that may not hold true for androids far enough in the future -- or even cars, for that matter.
