An article appearing in several news papers on Jan 17 2079 written by Dr. Victor Samson Founder and former chairman of Samson Robotics:

I have received many complaints and suggestions addressed to me in regards to the failings in the design of the ECLR (Emotively Controlled Learning Robot) Female type androids that Samson robotics creates, all relating to the recent outbreak of what has been coin “The Vixen Virus”. These complaints varied from tech geek’s pointing out it was unwise to install Internet connections on androids, to moralists saying that such “equipment” should not have been installed in them in the first place and not simply covered up with a blank crotch plate.

My favourite are the alarmists saying that the virus give androids free will and they’re going to mix with human society and try to overthrow it.

If you are unfamiliar “the Vixen Virus” allow me to give a short overview.
Androids infected will start having sexual desire and attempt sexual acts. The effects of the virus vary depending on a units personal experience and original programming.

Ranging from some becoming a single person’s devoted plaything to others become nympho dominatrix’s, and on occasion you do end up with a run away.

The term virus maybe a little misleading, though it starts with a virus all that the virus does is to start a number of timed downloads from seeds on the Internet. Though the origonal seeds have been removed, any android infected will also act as a seed. It will not download all of the new programming all at once but in stages, this done because it doesn’t overwrite any of the androids programming it just adds more, this allows the androids learning program to adapt it’s programming to function in tangent with it’s new program. If they installed it all at once there is a good chance of causing a crash. Because of this it can some times be hard to tell if an android is infected as some may act normal 90% of the time except toward a few targets they decide upon.

Do to the complex nature of the new directive, units infected have a higher initiative and social awareness then most.

Now on to the letters, in regard to the Internet connection. I agree with you completely, I told them not to put one in. You seem to misunderstand my place in this company. I am the former Chairman. I may have founded the company and designed the original ECLR androids but now I’m but a lowly engineer and programmer, and when a engineer say’s this is a bad idea, and the marketing department say’s this is a good idea they listen to the marketing department.

Now to the people out there who are scratching their heads and saying that your android is as anatomically correct as a Barbie doll, allow me to explain as well as answering question 2.

After Samson robotics decided to make sexbots (something I was against.) It was found out that most people wanted sexbots wanted to upgrade there existing robots into sexbots. Now allow me to give the math here. The “equipment” of a sexbot if installed when the android is being made cost $5 in parts. Installing the part to allow the parts to be installed later $5, the parts to be installed $15, this does not count labour and manufacturing facilities. To make it simple they decided it was cheaper to install it on the outset, cover it up with a blank crotch panel, then if someone wants an “upgrade” they send them a “defined” crotch panel and the necessary drivers.

That’s right that the only difference between a normal robot and a sexbot is a driver and 1/8 of an inch of plastic.

For you idiots out there who are thinking to themself’s “If it has a blank crotch panel how can it do anything?” allow me to explain. The crotch panel is part of it’s outer shell which is totally for acetic purposes and has no effect on function. If you take it off, the area around may have a metallic look but it’s bits and pieces will function perfectly well.

In regards to the third question, there is a wealth of way’s I could debate such a dumb notion. Let me stay with a simple one. Do to legislation 452375545508 all androids must be discernable from humans, which is why they all have seams (that and it was a good excuse to save $50 bucks a unit). So your argument is stupid, and so are you.
