Editing the fembot's memory provides so many possibilities.
Easily one of the most erotic episodes of The Twilight Zone is "The Lateness of the Hour". Our female lead looks for evidence of her past in the old family photo albums, but she is not in any of the pictures. That fembot's personality was fragile, not like a sleeper or day-dreamer who forgets what she is most of the time. If pressed, the sleeper will understand what she is; but then she'll forget and swing back to her default human identity-with-modifications.
Before temporarily restoring her personality, you could undermine the fembot's memories of growing up, going to school, having friends and relatives. The script would be written using generic words in place of the expected proper nouns - Anytown, U.S.A.; Number-Number-Number West Nowhere Street. You would execute a program to purge her memory of the actual names, and replace them with generic and fake names.
Trying to prove herself as real, she first speaks of Sis, Dad, and Mom, and those words raise no alarms for the viewer. Did she have any pets (named DOG or CAT)? She talks of high school - but ask her what was the name of the high school was. Anytown High. Who was your favorite teacher? The Professor. Everyone called him that.
And what was your street address growing up - digit-digit-digit West Something Street or 1234 Fake Street or… etc.; but her answers seem perfectly normal to her. Talking to her about her life growing up is like reading is like reading aloud a Mad Libs story that hasn't been filled in.
She's up and running now, with a little new hardware (or she's completely mechanized). That means she's got Google access. Only once you order her does she think to confirm her biographical details. Those places, people don't exist. Uh--oh!
