I love xkcd. It, Dinosaur Comics, and Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal are the only webcomics I look at and love regularly.

It wouldn't be too practical to put an arc welder in a companion bot, though. :roll:

Well, that's the whole point of it, I think. The whole strip would also work if the left guy said "celebrity girlfriend" and the girl would teach the right guy a karate lesson.

The strip makes a good point. How often do we see FBCers taking into account the real possibility that a sentient AI would have their own, and not necessarily human compatible, fetishes.

Really? I had the impression she is just insulted and makes fun of the right guy in exchange. (Ok, allowing different perspective is one of the cool things of xkcd.)
