I've been waiting a LONG time to track this one down ... and I finally found it. Several years ago, if I understand correctly, MadTV held a contest where viewers could win a chance to be on the show. One of the winning entries was for a pair of girls whose act was to dress up as robots in silver spandex and face makeup. The acting is awful, but when you consider that these were two "regular" girls who thought this would be a cool thing to do on national TV, that has to be a good thing.
