A 1956 "X minus one" radio adaptation of "Marionettes, Inc."

For all you youngsters out there, "X minus one" was one of the best science fiction anthology shows from the golden age of radio.

Now get off my lawn! :x

Scroll down to episode 33.

There is another episode, the title of which eludes me at the moment, which focuses on a scientist who survived a Martian holocaust, as well as his family. The story focuses on his near solitary confinement on a fully industrialized planet. It's of interest to this group from a literary standpoint only.

If you enjoy old time radio as I do, here is another podcast worth checking out.

The Mensa old time radio special interest group daily podcast.

Alternatively, you could just get the complete X-Minus One and Dimension X from the Internet Archive. They are legal and public domain.

However, this topic is now creeping pretty far afield of fembot discussion.
