Wow, I had no idea that Small Wonder was so well known.

Actually.... dispite it's limited budget, SMALL WONDER did... WONDERFULLY in worldwide syndication... Stateside, it is considered to be one of the most successful first run syndicated series EVER... Yeah, ask anyone, and they will most likely say they HATED the show....but ratings do not lie... Small Wonder was also one of the first building blocks for the FOX NETWORK... so in a way, Vicki Lawson helped bring us American Idol, The X Files, and The Simpsons, to name but a few. Overseas, the series ran at odd times, but held audiences in Japan, Germany, and .....even India. ---it is actually CHEAPER for TV stations in other countries to buy syndicated shows from America and show 'em, because PRODUCING LOCAL PRODUCT COSTS A LOT. Stating the OBVIOUS THERE... I wonder if SMALL WONDER will ever make it to DVD? --minkwheel

Yeah, we here in the U.S. and A. suffer from a schiziod like disorder on a lot of "taboo" issues. I've read some weird opinions on the show,some linking fans of the sitcom to pedofilia.

MOST of the odd opinions come from folks who have dirty minds to begin with...ask Howard Leeds who created the show, and he'll just tell you it was a basic formula FISH OUT OF WATER story family sitcom, and those who thought more into it with pedophilia should have themselves checked for their own psychological disorders instead of labelling others. --Older folks loved the show because they felt that Tiffany Brissette was talented... she COULD sing, dance, and act...and if the show was made TODAY for Disney or Nickelodeon, you can BET that she would be exploited more with CDs and other merch. --minkwheel

You know those evil feminists. It's amazing how so many people can form a group that all shares the exact same opinions.
