Wow! If I'm not mistaken it looks like she's working on an electronic panel and then she's screwing a flesh covering back on over it!

Hi Guys,

I'll look for the thread over on FreezeTek's site and see if I can't post a link to it. A contributor over there is French and he brought this series to that boards attention.

Here are a couple of quotes from Puducu about this episode.

"Estrella begins a new experiment. With in her power, she makes throw to the sea the pants of Les Musclés. These last ones are very embarrassed. While Hilguegue wants to help them, Estrella decides to neutralize her.
She freeze Hilguegue and she hypnotize her, so that Hilguegue agrees with what she makes. Hilguegue becomes again normal, she freeze Estrella, she hypnotize her to make her more kind. Estrella becomes too kind and Hillguegue freeze her again.
Uploaded on ftp contributor's. "

"Are you sure Hilguegue and Estrella aren't robots? They certainly seem robotic in that clip, the way they freeze each other then change the others personality with a few button presses!

In this TV show it was never said that they were robots, It's just clarify that they are extraterrestrials from the planet Vega. They come on the earth to study the behavior of the human beings and mainly of Les Musclés. Them powers is in their device called "Synthé".
The writer of this tv show is certainly a freeze fan. "

Sorry to burst any bubbles about what might have been but it does look like a great show for fans of freeze related material as Puducu has posted several clips over at FIMS.

If you go to http://freeze.basictek.net/ and check out the message board under the TV shows heading you'll see several posts about it.

They are great whether they are robots, or just doing an excellent impression of one. Both very cute, and that silver outfit is rather nice I have to admit.

As someone else said I wish my French was up to it, but since school (far too many years ago) I've barely need it, but they were great clips.
I'm just a 'girl' who wants to become a fembot whats wrong with that?

Yeah, at least in that episode Hilguegue is a robot. Even though she's frozen with a remote countless other times in the series, she and Estrella are aliens from Vega. I guess the freezing doesn't prove much anyway since they constantly use the remote to freeze humans too.
Course, why she's a robot in the SuperFramb episode is unknown, but I get the impression continuity and logical explanations were not a priority for that show.

While I'm thinking about it, I want to thank ISAF for the vigilance and for all of his hard to find contributions to the FTP . Anybody who appreciates these clips should leave some feedback for Puducu over at YouTube or FreezeTek's board. We need to encourage the contributers of hard to find material, and they certainly have contributed some unique clips!

Special thanks to ISAF: always appreciative of everyone who finds stuff, great stuff.

And ~?... uh, lol, this may sound a bit obsessive, but Hilguegue is a robot in that episode, without any explanation given?

That means she must be a robot in all the others! Hooray!

Don't disillusion me...yet...

They are robots. They keep messing with their own "electronic processors" and programming and systems .That is the pure translation.

They mention errors in her main logic processors, systems errors. Pure Gynoid talk.

Alien or not, they are robots for sure.

As what is going on, it's very err... not very funny for us , in my opinion. French humor (from France) is very.. bland to our standards..

Dark hair girl made men's pants teleport to their cabin to see the "human" reaction. Blong woman say it's not funny and start fighting. Girl #1 with remote reprogrammed blondy to find it funny. Then blondy malfunction,
darky tries to fix her, telling her she reprogrammed her. Blondy get pissed off that darky reprogrammed her and snatch the remote and reprogrammed the darky now. She regrogrammed her "nice" side to be more higher. Now, both are happy...

Still great stuff! I want more!

Haha, this serie is called indeed "la croisière foll'amour" with (bad) actors named "les musclés". It's an old show and today, in France, it isn't funny thanks to humour but because it's out of date!
At the begining of the story we know Hilguegue and Estrella are extraterrestrials but not robots. But in some episodes we can learn that they are robots. And when I was young, I was happy to know that! :)
We can see, sometimes, this show on tv (TNT or "cable" channels).
I have already to try to download episodes but I can't find torrent files or others.
If I remember rightly there are a lots of episodes with freeze scenes but there is less of scenes with robot acting. But we can imagine now that we know!

In the late 80's to mid 90's Club Dorothee was France's most popular children's show. They started with imported cartoons from Japan etc because they were cheap, but as years went by, money flowed in and it became a mini production house for musicians and TV series. Les Musclés were simply a background band at first, but they got their own sitcoms.

Thanks to both Mirage and Nibigot for the translation!

Based on what I had seen in Les Pantalons and SuperFramb episodes I was pretty sure that Hilguegue and Estrella were robotic (I knows one when I sees one) but when I asked Puducu on the FreezeTek Board (quoted by KJ earlier) he said they weren't, and considering how little of the show I have actually seen coupled with my being less than proficient at French translation, I took his word for it.

Well, the show's humour may have been "bland", but having two hot and somewhat mechanical female aliens who like to freeze people and reprogram each other is some kind of genius!
