FILM > Attack of the Clones

Post by 1024 » Sun Sep 15, 2002 8:19 am

All together now, "Send in the clones, there ought to be clones..."

Anyway, just reading a bit about the latest Star Wars film. Seems there's a robot waitress in one scene, described as a bit like a feminine C3PO but on roller skates. Probably just a brief appearance but sounds an improvement on the usual Star Wars style of "droid". Anyone seen it?

Yes, I saw it and it was nothing worth mentioning. Saying that the WA-7 is a female version of C3-P0 is giving them more credit than they deserve > the only reason she is considered female is because of her voice. You can have a look at the WA-7 droid here.

Thanks

Not an improvement on the usual Star Wars droids after all :(

Oh well, back to the drawing board.

She reminds me a little of the droid in the spoof 'Space Balls'- anyone remember her??
