Hey,
Been looking into this site for awhile:
Japanese skills have been getting better, so:
Looks like it could be really cool.
Basic story is that gynoids have become commonplace,
but recently some baddies have been reprogramming
gynoids to commit crimes including murder, and the anti-gynoid crime squads have just begun deploying the 2 gynoid fighters you see
on the site.
The first is the prototype, Mika, of which there are 7 copies. She has no emotions at all. Judging from the pictures on the site, and the storyline,
there seem to be a lot of repair and maintenance scenes, and she seems
to get her legs blown off (ouch!) by some kind of robo-tank.
The second, younger looking one, El, is the production model, I think.
She has some basic emotion capability. There were 2 copies, but one was "destroyed".
One of the enemies they face is a El unit who has been
programmed as an evil assassin.
It also looks like there's a gynoid waitress gone bad at some point.
So that's 4 gynoids plus copies.
The blog of the actress playing the main prototype mentions
their learning how to fight, and something about robotic movement.
Although the gynoids move like humans, they can save battery power
by being more mechanical, I think.
The editor of the site seems to think that guys will get a special kick out of the mechanical movement.
But my translation could be wrong.
Volume 1 "Steel Angel's Smile" available 3/25
Volume 2 "Rusted Away Steel Angel" available 4/28
price 5040 Japanese yen (so about $50US)
I assume subtitles will not be available.

Thank you both for the "heads up" on this DVD.I only hope to get my copy(s) when these become available

It IS too much to ask for
No way.
Three reasons
1. It's an independent film, and only scum would steal an independent film and "share" it over the internet. Bad karma.
2. If you don't beleive in karma, think practically. If they can't sell movies, they have no reason (or money) to try to make sequels. This is not a big Hollywood studio, every single sale counts for an indy producer.
3. It hasn't even been finished yet.
You want it, order it through Anime Jungle next spring. More orders means more features later, and I bet if there are enough foreign orders, they might even do subtitles.
I almost never spend money for ASFR beyond video rentals, but I'm pretty sure I'll get this when it comes out. Can't wait!

oh well, i know that is too much to ask for anyways...
i asked that ridiculous request as it is extremely hard to get any indie films on this corner of the planet. and to wait for the indie movies to be premiered here will take longer than the advertised dates, and most probably will never arrive due to strict censorship rules and conditions.
anyway, i don't mind to see the screen caps when it is released...

I sympathize with censhorship laws, although Japan probably
isn't as strict as whereever you are, pamalite, they do make it basically
impossible to import anything involving full nudity, although the
terrible stories I've heard about the silly attempts at ASFR in that kind
of movie... I'm probably not missing much.
Maybe they'll at least put up a teaser on the website, which
seems to be slowly evolving. If you've figured out where the diary
is, there seem to be new pictures with each new entry, too bad
they're extremely small though...
I assume there's no real nudity in this video,
just some kinf of rubber mannequin in some repair scenes.
