Does anyone have recent news on Chrome?
It seems like this movie has been stuck for at least 2 years in filming limbo, and IMDB keeps stretching out the release "year". Does anyone have any new/recent info you can share with the group?

No sooner did I ask (well, a month later), but the official trailer for Chrome has been posted on Pendragon Pictures' website!!!!!
Some highlights of the trailer:
Oh yeah, and for all you ASFR'ians ... exposed circuitry (i.e. face comes off, just like you've seen in A.I.) and shots of Chrome's limbs separated & reassembled.
I can't be certain how much bandwidth the 3rd-party sites have that Pendragon has contracted with, but 1 of the sites wasn't even valid when I checked tonight. So, to save everyone the heartbeep, er, heartbreak of not being able to get the trailer, I've hosted the trailer on one of my Comcast webpages.
Click on the link at the very bottom of MY page for Chrome-y goodness. Once you save the file to the hard drive, rename the file extension to ".mov" to play it in QuickTime

(replace 0's with o's on both links to make valid URL's)
Some highlights of the trailer:
EXTREMELY retro ... think Metropolis with CGI!
Katie Tomlinson is a babe.
The costume for Chrome isn't as funky as I had hoped (not terribly form-fitting), but I'm willing to give it the benefit of a doubt.
The miniature work looks perfectly like Metropolis, Flash Gordon, or other flicks in the current "retro" theme.
Music is a little cheezy, but again, fits in well with the 30's-50's symphonic sound they're going for.
Many of the actors look like they also signed on for War of the Worlds, just an FYI

Be sure to also talk up the film on IMDB, in order to raise a little interest. The people who have currently posted just don't get it.

Have to agree re katie Tomlinson, now if I had a fembot body like that I would be VERY happy, even if I was a non cogniscant fembot!Do love that outfit and headpiece I must say,and would love to be dressed in it.
The metropolis outfit, assuming we are talking the robot Maria one,now would I ever love to be 'sealed into that!
Look forward to Chrome hitting this side of the Atlantic some time in the near future (hopefully!)
