I was looking into satalite radio for a friend and ran into an interesting thing.
On the classic radio chanel they are producing a new version of "The twilight zone". They are using the old scripts with new actors and sound effects.
I wonder if they have done "The lonley" or "Latnes of the hour" yet?
Anyone have this service or know anything about it?

"The Twilight Zone Radio Show" has been in syndication for a couple of years now. I don't know how many shows have been done (their web site only lists 16....seems there should be more) I do know "The Lateness of the Hour" has been done with Jane Seymour in the role of Jana. The show can be heard on the internet on Sundays from 3-4pm California time via KVTA-AM 1520 in Ventura......that is the Sundays the Angeles aren't playing day ball.

A good friend of mine sent me this information about another radio show that features gynoids called "Ruby." His message to me is as follows:

Thanks buddy!Dude -
We splurged this week and picked up an XM satellite radio for the house. Its extremely cool. There's one channel that does new radio plays including new radio productions of the really old Twilight Zone series. Anyway, there's a show called "Ruby" that's about a futuristic gumshoe. The series has been in production since '81 with 7 series. There's quite a bit of female droids in it including a techie in love with an android that was programmed with a rudimentary bit of free will. There's quite a bit of double-entendre talk about the mixing of people and droids (at least in the few episodes we've listened to).
Anyway, here's a link to the Amazon listing for the first season on CD:

Didn't know if this had been discussed on the boards or not yet. If not feel
free to pass it along. If anybody has XM it plays on the Sonic Theatre channel 153 at 9:30 PM EST.

I have heard of the seriese but didn't know it was on XM. I hope to be getting XM in the next few months, cash flow permiting.
BTW, if you want to get XM but don't want to spend the couple of hundred for the tuner and adapters, you can get a device for PC that will let you listen over the net. It's about 60 bucks pluss the 10 dollars per month for the subscription. They havn't raised their rates since 2001 when they went on the air. Wish I could say the same for my fxxxing caable company.
