"Robot Stories" (Movie)

Post by keraptis » Tue Mar 16, 2004 11:54 am

Has anyone heard of this film?
http://www.robotstories.net/

It is apparently a collection of shorts from an indie filmmaker. It's making the rounds in indie theaters right now ... just came across it today myself.

None of the stories involve a femobt per se ... though one has a "digitized wife" sort of like in Andromeda. Mostly it just looks like good independent filmmaking.

If anyone sees it, please post a review!

I just happen to live in a suburb of Rochester, New York. Home to Kodak, Xerox and Bausch & Lomb. I've seen George Eastman's house and the building where Dr. Henry Lomb had his optometry shop, right across the street from where Frederick Douglas printed his paper, the Northern Star.

All of which means there's no chance in hell of the movie coming to Rochester. We kind of suck that way.

My sister goes to college in Chicago, but the movie already closed there. Anybody else?

You and me both, Bob...I'm way the smeg out here in the Pacific Northwest, and about the only good thing that ever comes here is the occasional Star Trek convention...

Yeah, we get those too. We even had Jimmy Doohan here once.

We've also got one of those "artsy fartsy" theaters that show indie and foreign films. Looks like I'll have to bring this to their attention. (The movie, not the fact that they show indie and foreign films.)

I met him, too, about 12 years ago. Got him to sign my "Mr. Scott's Guide To The Enterprise", and had my picture taken with him :)
