Andromeda, Episode #409: Machinery Of The Mind

After this week's rerun of episode #407 (The World Turns All Around Her) a teaser for next week's all new Andromeda, episode #409 (Machinery Of The Mind), aired with clips of a potential fembot. The episode finds the crew on a planet of pleasures where Harper, the ship's lovelorn mechanic, finds a redhead with brains and beauty. Harper's notorious bad luck with women comes into play with the teaser showing a few clips of Rommie, the ship's gynoid avatar, battling the redhead as well as the redhead taking a few weapon blasts to her shoulder with little effect -- not unlike the results fans have witnessed when Rommie is hit with weapons fire. Could the redheaded beauty be a bot?

I did some more searching, as I know some digital cable channels air Andromeda episodes before the official site announces them, and came across a full episode synopsis: http://www.laurabertram.net/eldoradodri ... p_409.html

Sadly, the redheaded hottie is not a bot and turns out to be part of "The Abyss," but to make up for her lacking is Rommie. It seems she will be shot with a weapon which knocks her over, and she will be unable to get up due to a lack of power. The official site gives Machinery Of The Mind the production code #409, see here: http://www.andromedatv.com/episodes/index.html

I am going to guess that you looked at the episode listing at the site mentioned above with screen captures. She lists Machinery Of The Mind as #410 and Exalted Reason, Resplendent Daughter as #409 -- where it is the reverse on the official site. My guess would be that Mystery, the channel she watches on, played them in the wrong order as well as before the "official air date."
