Tales From The Loop

Hey y'all, I just finished Tales From The Loop on Amazon Prime. It's a fantastic little 8 episode anthology show (with all episodes connected in different ways) that has a nice surprise for us in episode 8.

I won't spoil anything here and the reveal isn't a major plot point, but it is the payoff to a recurring story beat that deals with our personal passages of time.

I highly recommend watching the show if you like slower, more thoughtful sci-fi that has just a tinge of our kink ;)

In a nutshell the scene in question is in the last 10 to 15 minutes of the final episode. Kid goes to see his teacher after being gone for a very long time and wonders why she hasn't aged and she answers him simply by pulling off her face and revealing that she's a robot.

it's a very short scene. The face-off in particular only lasting maybe 30 seconds or so.
