I got an email from David Levy! Pardon my fanboy freakout. For those who don't know, he's the author of "Love and Sex with Robots" and winner of the Loebner Prize 2009 for "most human computer." When I contacted Erotic Chatbots I didn't expect the man himself would reply. He said that despite their failed Indiegogo fundraiser, they found an investor. They plan to start development this October and have their first app for sale by July 2016.

WE'll be a judge of that!

Will they revel in their artificiality? Will they be easily wakened sleepers?
or will they be simple human-erotic imitators?
