Found a truly scintillating fembot novel - "The Femmebots Revolt" by B. Cameron Lee. Gets into issues of robot sapience and subsequent freedom - also with a spicy cop-drama/conspiracy. It reveals a fundamental axiom of futurism: The moment we can make robotic human sex-replicants; it is inevitable that we will copy Marilyn Munroe.

Though personally, I'm holding out for the Victoria's Secret series.
