Mass Effect 3

Okay, so, a little spoiler-y this, and maybe you have already heard of it. So, if you do not want to be spoiled in any way whatsoever about the game, then turn away now!

Still interested?

Okay!

So, as you may know. The Mass Effect universe is full of all sorts of sentient machines, most of them are pretty unfriendly. But there were two friendly ones! Legion, who...is irrelevant to the topic, and EDI. Unfortunately, EDI was an AI, and the most we ever got was a sexy voice and a holographic projection of some sort of mushroom-looking thingie.

However...In Mass Effect 3, this is changing. EDI is getting a body!

And the Joker x EDI shippers rejoiced. Or, I imagine they will, anyway.
"If the time should ever come when what is now called science, thus familiarized to men, shall be ready to put on, as it were, a form of flesh and blood, the Poet will lend his divine spirit to aid the transfiguration, and will welcome the Being thus produced, as a dear and genuine inmate of the household of man."

I wanted to see what all the fuzz was about, so I recently bought Part 2 for the PS3, and... well, I'm really looking forward to part 3.

Also, interesting tidbit regarding EDI: She's voiced by none other than Tricia Helfer, which is a bit like when Mark Hammil played a space fighter pilot in the old Wing Commander games.

Gonna be sooo much rule-34 of EDI and Joker. It'll be awesome. Actually looking forward to the pron more than the game.

Dunno, the trailer's not exactly filling me with confidence... Mass Effect 2 was already pretty well gutted of traditional CRPG gamesystems and had absolutely no story (don't get me wrong, it was a fun game - just not because of the plot or core gameplay). Looking like it might just be Sci-Fi Shooter 3 - In Space.

Then there's Origin - eeeew - might not buy this installment... Avast maties!

Yes, it's EXACTLY a shooter, but using decision trees, skill building, and squad management.

You guys are also missing 1 more female artificial being in this thread (new in ME3). ;)
