I'm starting off with some of the earlier videos for new members or those who just want to know a little more before laying down their hard-earned cash. I encourage everyone to post there own reviews for asfr videos found at robolust or other clips4sale studios. I will try to keep my remarks informative and my criticisms constructive. Frank and other producers are interested in getting more feedback to better cater to the community, so be honest, but be polite.

CLIPS Set 1….This is one of Frank’s 1st attempts to cater to our group. It was shot before Frank started writing scripts and Dani is basically directed to think she is a robot, while under hypnotic suggestion. The 1st quarter of the clip she is a sleep or in a trance, while receiving instruction. She is instructed to repeat “Robot Dani Malfunction” any time Frank refers to her as a Robot or repeat each command by preceding it with “Robot Dani”. She has her voice deactivated and is deactivated and reactivated several times.
When deactivated she generally falls forward and bends at the waist. She does a nice job with robotic movement for her 1st attempt. She very cute in her spandex outfit and makes a nice effort. There are times when she seems truly confused, worried or even frantic. The previews for this clip were what got me interested in Frank’s videos. There is a lot of instruction and les actual robot acting than some of Frank’s later stuff, but what there is pretty nice. These also date back to before Frank started using a tripod, so it’s a little shaky at times, but not too bad. I recommend these clips, especially if Frank is running one of his specials. Just remember the earlier clips were made for the hypno crowd as well and contain less of a story and less overall robot acting.

Again this is an older set, so there is a lot of hypnotic instruction, some camera shake and a limited story line. Despite any complaints I may have had, Giselle’s clips are still among my favorite. She is instructed to malfunction anytime she learns or hears that she is a robot. She has the movement, expressions, subtle and not so subtle reactions down. I hope that Frank can get her back sometime. I highly recommend her clips, with the understanding you are purchasing quality instead of quantity with this set as there are still large portions dedicated to hypnotic suggestion in which Giselle is in a sleep-like / trance state. I really do think she did an excellent job, especially for a 1st attempt.

Again this is an older set, so there is a lot of hypnotic instruction, some camera shake and a limited story line. Allona is however quite cute and does a decent job in my opinion as she malfunctions, while she insist that she is not a robot” She does a nice job with monotone speech and repeats “yes that’s what I’m here for” after every instruction. The pace in these older clips is kind of slow do to the hypnotic instruction and numerous shut downs. The shutdowns generally consist of the girl counting backward from three and then bending over at the waist as her hair falls over her face. I would recommend this video as there are some nice parts and I would be interested in seeing Allona return and perform with more dialog and a plot to work with. If Frank runs any more specials for some of his older stuff this would be a nice one to ad to the collection. If you are new to robolust, and can only afford a few clips there are other clips I would recommend first.

This was one of Frank’s first attempts to incorporate more of a plot and dialog, Michelle puts allot of effort into her performance and improves as the clip continues. I actually liked these clips especially toward the 2nd half of the 1st clip. There is considerably more robot content in these clips than any of clips preceding them. Camera work is fine when Frank is still, but suffers a bit when he walks about. It takes Michelle a bit to get into character, but I think for a first attempt she pulls it off pretty well. There are certainly other clips I would recommend more to first time visitors, but those looking to beef up their collection, might want to give these clips a 2nd look Especially if Frank is running specials on older clips. I don’t think everyone will brag on these clips, but I think there were enough nice little moments to warrant a recommendation

Again this is an older set, so there is a lot of hypnotic instruction, some camera shake and a limited story. There is a real shortage of robot related material in this clip. A couple of nice moments when she overloads from over stimulation, but not enough to warrant the money unless you are die-hard asfr collector, Bailee is very attractive and I think she does a wonderful job on her 2nd clip with Gina http://www.hypnolust.com/BaileyGenie.htm , but she never really gets the whole robot acting thing down in this somewhat disappointing clip. Based on her performance during her second visit, I would be glad to see her again. These clips were made very early on, when Frank was still learning about our community. I can’t recommend these clips, but suggest giving serious consideration to buying her second set with Gina.

Again this is an older set, so there is a lot of hypnotic instruction, some camera shake and a limited story. Elektra does a very nice job in my opinion and is pretty hot to boot. The premise for this clip is that she unable to accept any criticism or comment that contradicts with her programmed belief that she is perfect. If Frank points out a flaw she begins to malfunction insisting that she is perfect. She does a nice job with movement, mannerisms and speech. There is the usual lag-time during hypnotic instructions and frequent shut downs, but all in all these were decent clips. Maybe it was the combination of her performance and her appearance, but I liked these clips a lot. I feel justified in recommending the Electra clips and would love to see her back, now that Frank has had more opportunity learn about ASFR.

This girl is extremely cute and sexy. She has a thick Russian or Western European Accent, I’m really not an authority. If you just think she’s hot as I did then the clip is worth it, but as far as asfr content Is concerned, there are better options to choose from on the site. Collectors may want to check it out, but if you can only afford few you may want to spend you money on other videos. One thing to mention is that Frank has a better understanding of the fetish now, and is probably better equipped to directs actresses/models than before. I actually would no mind if he gave this girl another chance. I wasn't impressed with Bailee's first performance, but I really enjoyed her second vist.

Again this is an older set, so there is a lot of hypnotic instruction, some camera shake and a limited story. Leah is hypnotized to believe she is a robot maid that overloads whenever a sexual advance is made or if she is requested to perform any type of sexual task. She is very attractive and I think the concept had a lot of potential, but the performance was disappointing. She did not seem to put in much effort to act or move in a robotic manner. The dialog seemed unenthusiastic which was a shame because it was right down the asfr alley “Overload, I am not a pleasure Unit”….”too much charge….charge too high,..can not compute”. Despite Leah’s lovely appearance, I can’t recommend this clip as there are too many other girls that have given better performances.

Kendra is hands down one of my favorites. Both of her videos are worth checking out, however if you can only afford one set I would go with the first one. She plays an exchange student that is caught updating her system while attached to her laptop by a usb cable. She has decent acting skills and is able to pull off subtle glitches, major malfunctions, has good robotic movement, facial expressions and has the voice down too.. Both clips are entirely robot-themed and have no hypnosis segments. There are moments where the camera works is a bit shaky and there is a fair amount of zooming in and out, but for the most part its not too bad. I highly recommend both of her sets. She just really seems to get the fetish and I hope she returns to act in future videos.

I just had a chance to view Chistina Carter’s second video clip series with Robolust. First of all I think it turned out quite well and I definitely recommend it as a must have for ASFR fans. She did a nice job with the robotic acting in my opinion and she certainly had the vacant stare down pat. I also enjoyed her first video series, but I think this one actually turned out much better. I attribute part of the improvement due to the fact that she’s not wearing a mask in this one and you can see her eyes, which really set her apart from most models. She is one of the few models that makes the extra effort to familiarize her self with the script several days before the shoot and I think it helps.

Both of Christina’s series are loosely based on scripts I submitted to Frank, and I encourage all of you to send any ideas or themes you would be interested in seeing. I have sent numerous scripts over the past few months and Frank has been very open to translate them to video as best he can in the time he has. Both of the Corey Chase videos were loosely based on my script ideas and suggestions. I thought the first Corey Chase video turned out very well and followed the script closely. The second Corey Chase video fell short in my opinion, largely because the other model, just didn’t have the acting chops and was responsible for most of the robotic acting and dialog. Sometimes Frank comes pretty close to hitting the nail on the head, other times he and the actresses don’t quite get it. I would would however encourage him to revisit a good story idea, whenever the original execution falls short.

The actress’s ability to act and understand the fetish makes a big difference. That is why I’d like to get every one to submit a list of their favorite actresses. I have sent a request to Frank to see encore performances from the models listed below. I chose them based on a combination of their acting ability and appearance.

I really hope everybody participates. I think a list of our favorite actresses/models would be helpful. I don't want Frank to stop looking for new talent, but I think after a less than great performance. It would be nice if he could come back the next week with an actresses or actresses that have already proven themselves. I don't expect all of the videos to be gems and I'm willing to endure a few duds for a video that really nails our fetish. Plus a list of our favorite girls, and or scenes provides Frank with examples to show the girls.

My biggest complaint with the story lines themselves, is that I find them a bit repetitive. Basically an initial introduction to establish a situation followed by a lengthy masterbation sequence. I have considered requesting the introduction of male actors on occasion as it provides the girls more opportunity to interact, thus improving their acting and opening up more story ideas. I think its worth exploring even if it means toning the content down to R instead of Xrated. I think the utilization of the tripod has helped tremendously, but it seems like the scripts and camera work suffer a bit, because Frank is tyring to interact with the models, operate the camera, and stay out of frame all at the same time. I personally don't find it so troublesome that it prevents me from buying clips, but I do think its an opportunity for improvement, provided cost don't get out of hand. That being said the camera work has really improved in the past few months.

I know the two girl clips tend to flow better and the girls just seem a bit more comfortable. I realize they are more costly, so I would recommend that Frank use two proven actresses when ever he can as one bad actress can throw off a good one. The better the clips sell the more likely he is to recover his investment. Word gets around pretty quick here and if a clips is worth seeing the news spreads fast.

In my opinion the most common mistakes I see the actresses making include:

-Looking at the camera instead of staring blankly off into space during malfunctions and freezes.

-Playing with their hair, scratching itches, fiddling with their clothes. its amazing how little things can destroy the illusion.

-Just not focusing enough on facial expression, eyes open wide, vacant stare, lips parted or and overly serene and chipper smile.

-Not syncing their movements to the dialog. If she starts repeating a word or phrase, I prefer to see a bit of head tick or cock to coincide with each repetition.

-Not syncing their facial expressions to their movements.... If the girl has a tick, twitch, or spasm of some type, I prefer to see her expression and mannerisms change accordingly. perhaps her eyes widen, bug out or roll back. The expression may initially start off as shock of concern before evolving into more of a blank unfocused look.

-Overdoing or Underdoing the robotic Voice....Monotone speach in my opinion doesn't mean scratchy or raspy. It should still sound feminine. I think breaking the tempo with an occasional short unnatural pauses, works quite well and the sickningly pleasent

-Movement tends to be to overexaggerated or overlooked at times: Sometimes small incremental twitches an jerks are more convincing than large movements. Keeping the upper body independant of the lowerbody is a nice touch. The legs stiffly locked and separated, glued to the floor as the actress turns and bends her torso in a jerky motion. I don't expect all the girls to have the movements down, that's when smaller twitches and facial expressions, voice, and dialog become more important.

A few personal preferences of mine include;

I enjoy malfunctions in which the girl is on her back laying the floor or on a bed. For whatever reason, I think the models that have limited acting skills do much better with the robotic movements in this situation.

During repairs/tamper scences I like to see the model respond phsically and vocally. Whether a button controls one of her limbs or causes her to twitch, ect. Its works for me to have her, descibe whats happening to her systems, how the modifications make her feel, warning and error messages, protest the actions of her programmer, to threaten a response, or try carrying on a conversation, only to have the modifications cause glitches in her speech functions.

I am fond of subtle glitches, slightly odd speech patterns, tiny reveals. Don't get me wrong I enjoy full-blown malfunctions too, I just enjoy the build, or journey.

I want it to be profitable for producers to provide our group with material and the best way to ensure that is to guide them through the fetish, so that we want to buy the products they produce.
